Adder Snakes

Now is the time of the year for adder snakes to be in the grass and the time when dogs are most likely to get bitten. The snakes only bite when they feel threatened.

If a bite is suspected.. (normally on the legs or the face) DO NOT rub the bite as this will spread the poison into the blood stream.. Carry your dog if possible to prevent fast pumping blood and get your dog straight to a vet.
