Snowglobes

At this time of the year lots of snowglobes are used as decorations for Christmas however sadly a lot of people don't realise how dangerous they can be for pets. A lot of snowglobes contain antifreeze which is toxic to pets. If a snowglobe smashes, instantly remove your pet from the area, clean their paws as a precaution and ensure you clean the surroundings thoroughly. If your pet licks or touches the liquid or the glass remains then immediately ring your local emergency vets.
